Acronyms

Antonyms are words that have opposite meanings. The word antonyms came from a Greek word "anti" (against) and "onym" (name) — so, antonyms are “opposite names.” For example, the opposite of “soft” is “hard”, as the opposite of “on” is “off”.

In NAT examinations, students need to have strong vocabulary to answer antonyms. We strongly recommend students to build their vocabulary by reading news articles, blogs, books, novels and other sources. Building vocabulary is a long-term process as this cannot be achieved over night.
